Here's another #MunchieMonday coming at ya! As you all know, TriForcers are big advocates for K.I.S.S (keep it simple stupid). This TriForce applesauce recipe could not be any simpler (you really have no excuse). Use up all those apples you’ve been meaning to eat all week and turn them into something delicious.
Yield ~ 4 servings
Prep Time= 10 minutes Cook Time= 15-20 minutes Total Time=25-30 minutes
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 Cinnamon stick or ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
¾ cup water.
Here’s what you do:
1. Peel and core all of the apples.
2. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes on med-high heat.
3. Allow apples to cool. Mash them (remove cinnamon stick first).
You are now ready to eat a delish healthy snack! You can eat it plain, with some protein filled meat or however you desire!
